Tighten to a firm feel; the locking nuts will keep in same position. Ensure that the black rubber buttons are facing the floor, once assembly is complete

Undo the bolts at the end of the stand enough to be able to insert the forks that will hook into your spools. Tighten the bolts on both side ensuring that the taller arm of the hooks are facing forward.

Try carefully to measure the required distance between the two opposing forks of the stand. You might need to give it a couple of goes before you get it to the required distance, then tighten those bolts well to ensure that the flat part of the shaft is locked into position.

Insert the shafts of the rubberised pronged plates into the provisions so that you end up with the taller one facing the rear of the bike.

The order of set up of the rubberised prongs should be, going from the outside in: R clip in hole, then spring and naturally the plate & prongs.

Join the top section of the stand to the assembled legs + handle part by using the supplied small shafts which should be inserted from inside out. The Headlift Stand efficiency depends on the correct size Pin being used.

The Pin needs to be a snug Fit for it to work effectively.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check the steering stem hole to know the correct size for their bike.

REPLACING HEAD LIFT TRIPLE CLAMP PIN:

Triple clamp pin (also yoke pin or cross tree pin) replacement is easily done as follows.

First ensure that the new pin fits snugly in the centre hole in the triple clamp. There should be very little play to ensure safe and reliable support once assembled.

Remove the old pin from the top of the headlift by extracting the snap lock pin from the yoke pin securing pin. Extract the securing pin and remove the old yoke pin.

Replace with the new yoke pin. Line the hole in the yoke pin up with the holes in the top of the head lift stand and replace the securing pin. Replace the snap lock pin in the end of the securing pin and the job is done.
